Founded by Brett · Each autumn since 2014
The Boulder Burgundy Festival.
A non-profit autumn festival bringing leading Burgundy producers and writers to Boulder. Past wineries include Domaines d’Angerville and Roulot; past writers include Eric Asimov of the New York Times and Master of Wine Jancis Robinson.
What it is
A serious Burgundy weekend, in a small Colorado town.
The Boulder Burgundy Festival was founded by Master Sommelier Brett Zimmerman to bring genuine Burgundy access — producers, vintages, and conversation — to Colorado collectors.
The format mixes producer-led tastings, dinners, panels with wine writers, and the occasional library pour from a private cellar.
It is a non-profit, by design. Net proceeds go to local causes and to scholarships for aspiring wine professionals.
