Wine Wednesday
Taste the Willamette Valley
Wednesday, November 4 | 5:00 to 7:00 PM
Boulder Wine Merchant, 2690 Broadway
Oregon is famous for Pinot Noir, but the Willamette Valley has more to say. Cool Pacific air, long growing seasons and volcanic soils give its wines a freshness all their own.
Poured by Larry Galceran, Account Development Specialist with Breakthru Beverage, who walks through all four wines. Four Oregon wines from Cristom, Willamette Valley Vineyards and Lange Estate: two whites, then two Pinot Noirs.
The wines
2023 Cristom Louise Vineyard Viognier
Citrus blossom, honeysuckle, key lime and a gently saline finish.
2023 Willamette Valley Vineyards Dijon Clone Chardonnay
Pear, green apple, candied ginger and bright, focused acidity.
Raspberry, black cherry, rose petal and polished, fine-grained tannins.
2024 Cristom Mt. Jefferson Cuvee Estate Pinot Noir
Rose, lavender, tart cherry and savory whole-cluster complexity.
The offer
10% off all four wines, online now until Wednesday 8 PM, and in store during the tasting. Order online and pick up starting Wednesday. 21+ with photo ID.
