Two AMAZING tastings this week at the Boulder Wine Merchant that you won’t want to miss!

Wednesday, 11/30 complimentary in-store tasting, 5-7 pm.

Friday, 12/2 complimentary Woody Creek Distillers tasting, 4:30-6:30 pm.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste an exclusive single-barrel bourbon and a lineup of vodka, gin, and whiskies, along with a specialty cocktail — a chai old fashioned.

The star of this event will be a tasting of barrel #1693 which was chosen especially by Boulder Wine Merchant’s owner Brett Zimmerman MS. You can’t get this bottling anywhere else! This limited edition aged six years in charred American oak. Its mash bill was 70% corn and 30% rye, resulting in a rich, complex, and round whiskey with plenty of spicy brightness. As you sit with your glass, look for caramel, honey, burnt citrus rind, vanilla, clove, dried fruit, and cigar box. The finish lingers beautifully, and even the empty glass still smells incredible. We love this neat with just a tiny splash of water or a single ice cube since it is bottled at 100 proof.
