Introducing “Not-So-Natty” Natural Wines

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming in-store tasting featuring four natural wines that have just arrived at our shop.

Natural wines represent a return to traditional winemaking methods, crafted with minimal intervention from vineyard to bottle. While there are no set rules for this category, natural wines are usually made from organically or biodynamically grown grapes, fermented with indigenous yeasts that naturally occur in the vineyard, and produced with little to no additives such as sulfur. Natural wines aim to offer pure expressions of their terroir with vibrant flavors, unique characteristics, and sometimes those distinctively funky notes that natural wine enthusiasts have come to love.

We are happy to showcase what we affectionately call “not-so-natty” natural wines. These bottles maintain the integrity and philosophy of natural winemaking while offering clean, approachable flavor profiles that appeal to a broader range of palates. You won’t find yourself questioning whether these bottles are flawed. “Not-so-natty” natural wines strike the perfect balance – they follow low-intervention principles but are more polished and refined than their funkier cousins. They’re perfect for those curious about natural wines but hesitant about diving into the deep end of animalistic character and volatile acidity.
