Zeni Corvina 2020, Verona, Italy

Still family-owned, the Zeni winery has been honing their craft for 150 years and 5 generations.  They are based in the Veneto beside Lake Garda.  Their Corvina is sustainably grown and vinified in stainless steel.  You will find this red to be soft and red-fruited, with flavors reminiscent of cherries on a medium body.  It is moderately structured with a tomato-like acidity and tannins on the finish.  We received an especially good deal on this wine and are passing the savings along to you. Zeni’s Corvina is a perfect match for spaghetti bolognese or a spicy pizza.
