Zárate is making some of the greatest and most distinctive wines in Spain, crafted from old vine Albariño.  They are leading the charge in Rias Baixas with organic and biodynamic viticulture in their ancient vineyards.  Located in the Val de Salnés subzone, the estate encompasses a total of 9.6 ha.  It is a cool climate region and very close to the sea, which gives the wines a salty character.  Granitic soils offer a unique minerality and Albariño delivers a zesty citrus and mineral flavor profile. Perfect with crustaceans.
