Fteri’s Agiorgitiko is grown in the hills which surround the plain of Nemea. It has the characteristic dark red-purple color and aromas of pomegranate. This red wis supple an spicy, with velvty tannins. It is best enjoyed very lightly chilled and provides a perfect accompaniment to meals such as braised meat in tomato, and coq au vin.
