Now at his own winery, Three Wine Company, Matt makes tiny amounts of fantastic Zins from historic Zinfandel Vineyards. Three Zinfandel is sourced from ancient vines in Contra Costa County. It is a blend of 75% Zinfandel, 12% Petite Sirah, 9% Carignane, and 4% Alicante Bouschet. All the grapes in this blend come from vineyard blocks with extremely sandy loam soils. This is a well-balanced Zin that won’t overpower your Thanksgiving meal. It will also accompany burgers and barbecue nicely, or simply sip it with your feet up.
