Wolftrap’s White is an untraditional blend of 39% Viognier, 38% Chenin Blanc, and 23% Grenache Blanc, all mostly grown in the Swartland. It wafts from the glass with expressive notes of flowers and peachy fruit. Wolftrap opens up even more on its palate to display yellow plums, peaches, and apples, accented by a brightening acidity. This is an easy-drinking, versatile, and dry wine that will pair well with starter courses, roasted acorn squash, and poultry dishes.
