The Rascal brand of wines has been one of our favorites for a very long time. Owned by The Great Oregon Wine Company (makers of Duck Pond, another favorite at the store) a percentage of sales from every bottle of Rascal wines goes towards supporting The Humane Society. To date, they have donated over $80,000 to this worthy cause. Not to mention the Rascal Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris are consistently great values and some of our best sellers. Their newest wine is a Chardonnay from Cole’s Valley Vineyard in Umpqua Valley, which has been farmed organically for several vintages since it was purchased by The Great Oregon Wine Company. Crisp green apples meld with tropical fruits and a hint of cream, making a balanced and incredibly drinkable Chardonnay.
