Owned and managed by the Pride family since 1990, Pride Mountain Vineyards’ contiguous estate uniquely spans tea Napa/Sonoma county line. Pride’s wines are consistently excellent, and their Merlot is especially sought-after. This is a wine that drinks well right out of the gate or can be savored for years to come.  Red and black fruit aromas range from cherry to plum to currant with minerally slate and darker subtle notes of caramel, licorice and tar adding intrigue. The palate possesses a sensuous roundness so typical of great Merlot with a beautiful lithe energy echoing with the dark flavors on the long finish.
