Pere Mata ‘Cupada’ Brut Nature Rose Cava 2021
In a region dominated by massive producers buying grapes from hundreds of growers, Pere Mata is a very small producer focused on estate-bottling. He organically farms 5 hectares of vines in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. His “Cupada” Rose is pale strawberry in hue with fine, persistent bubbles. Enjoy snappy and bright aromas and flavors of strawberries, orange zest, green apple, and lemon. It is based on Macabeo, Xarel-lo, Parellada, and Monastrell. Following 24 months of aging on its lees, it was disgorged with zero dosage, providing a striking purity.
