Pedroncelli is a fourth generation, family-owned Sonoma County winery.  Their Sauvignon blanc is crafted from estate-grown fruit from two blocks harvested a week apart to capture both bright grassy notes and a core of tropical fruit. For being unoaked, this is a surprisingly rich Sauvignon. Highly aromatic, it jumps from the glass with fresh grass, citrus, pineapple, mango, papaya, and coconut. The creamy flavors layer with tropical fruit notes along with a touch of honey and are balanced by a refreshing acidity. Pedroncelli definitely drinks above its price point.  Pairs well with goat cheese, green salads, and fish, chicken or pork with lots of green herbs.
