Mont Marçal is a bold yet sophisticated Cava worthy of your festivities. It is pale yellow with fine bubbles and a persistent mousse. Its generous aromas will remind you of yellow peaches, ripe apples, and yeasty bread. Its medium to full body offers plenty of presence on the palate, along with a lengthy finish. The secondary fermentation took place in bottle with at least 15 months of lees aging. Mont Marçal is a respected producer, who has been making Cava in Penedès, just west of Barcelona, since 1975. While perfectly enjoyable on its own, we recommend enjoying this elegant sparkling wine with crispy fried foods, smoked fish, or sushi.
