Mila Albariño 2022, Rías Baixas, Spain
We haven’t found a good Albariño for under $20 in awhile, and are impressed with Mila. It offers a textbook profile of bright and fruity aromas with flavors of Meyer lemon, white peach, and saline minerals. It is light-bodied but does possesesa hint of roundness on the mouthfeel. Mila finishes dry with a refreshing acidity. Albariño is best-suited to northwestern Spain’s coastal terroir, and Mila’s were organically grown. This is a classic pairing with shellfish and white flaky fish.
