Mersel “Lebnani Abyad” 2022, Lebanon 1L
Mersel’s “white” wine has a few weeks of skin contact and tiptoes into the orange category. It is crisp with a medium body and a somewhat funky mid palate. It is made from 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Merwah, both organically grown. The Merwah vines, which are indigenous to Lebanon, boast vine age of 150 years.
