Matteo Braidot Pinot Grigio 2019

Since 1870, the Braidot family has consistently dedicated themselves to cultivating the land, including growing grapes with intense devotion. Today the estate extends to cover an area of 100 hectares (247 acres); 80 of which are planted with grapes. Through harnessing this biodiversity and meticulous care for the vines, the Braidots produce grapes of notable intensity in aroma and harmonious balance. The Pinot Grigio shows a straw yellow color with copper highlights in the glass. The nose is full of fresh citrus fruits and pears, with hints of banana and almonds, while the palate shows nice richness and savory qualities balanced by a long, crisp finish. This wine shows the nuanced characteristics that separate quality Fruilian Pinot Grigio from the ocean of lackluster examples.
