Massolino represents some of the greatest Cru vineyards of Serralunga.  This traditional producer is known for wines with outstanding depth and detail.  Franco Massolino is also one of the nicest people in the business!  The Margheria cru is a lovely 100% Nebbiolo wine that is situated on slightly sandier soils than the estate’s other sites.  This amazing wine boasts a fragrance of rose petal, wildflower, menthol, leather, and stewed berries.  There is power and vibrant structure to this bold Barolo, yet the elegance and finesse of Margheria and the hand of Massolino come through in the end.  Bold flavors of dried red berries, saddle leather, dried herbs, and spice linger on the super long, tannic finish.
