This is an easy-drinking white made by Mas Janiel in southern France’s Roussillon. It is an unusual combination of 60% Grenache and 40% Sauvignon Blanc. Expressive aromas of blossoms and fresh oranges waft from the glass and lead into flavors of yellow peaches and grapefruit on a medium body. Hauts de Janiel blanc is tasty and all-purpose in the best of ways. You can sip this on its own or serve it with a variety of foods.
