Lemelson Vineyards Cuvée X is a delicate ruby color in the glass. Aromas of black pepper, roses, raspberries and earth give way to flavors reminiscent of  dark plum, cherry, and pomegranate. Stylistically, this is a textbook Willamette Valley Pinot Noir from higher altitude plantings.  It is a light and finesse style that you will not mistake for Californian. Lemelson is a respected organic estate.  Cuvée X is the same juice as their flagship Cuvée Theo, but with only 6 months of oak aging. Scoop this up at $29, since it normally sells for $10 more.  Enjoy with roasted root vegetables and hazelnuts, salmon, duck, or your Thanksgiving feast.
