While overall crisp and focused since it is 100% Chardonnay, the ripeness of the Grand Cru site makes this Champagne fuller and richer than most Blanc des Blancs. The Champagne takes its name from the town ‘Le Mesnil-sur-Oger’, which is in the Cotes des Blancs south of Epernay and one of only 17 Villages in the Champagne region with the right to the designation ‘Grand Cru’. Displaying fine bubbles and sustained effervescence, this excellent Champagne offers a beautiful balance between fruits and pastries supported by the minerality. Le Mesnil Brut NV is perfect throughout a meal, from aperitif to dessert and indeed at any time of the day or night.
