Welcome spring with this lively Grüner Veltliner!  #GVLTAT offers an expressive nose of lemon, grapefruit, and white grape juice.  On the palate, you’ll find green apple, grapefruit, and pear with a touch of white pepper.  It has a light body and a refreshing acidity; if you enjoy Sauvignon blanc, definitely give this a try. It’s a terrific value. The Helenental Winery is located in the northern part of the Weinviertel region, in Röschitz. The company was first established in 1942 as a coop, but has been in private hands for a decade.  Enjoy this Grüner by itself or add sparkling water to make a spritz.  It’s a perfect pairing with asparagus, too.
