Il Casolare Rosso is a delicious, organically grown wine at an impressive price. It is a blend of 60% 

Montepulciano and  40% Sangiovese,  vinified separately since their harvest dates are a month apart. The two varietals harmonize while they age together in concrete. The moment you crack open this bottle, it is a bit reductive, so swirl it around in your glass for an extra minute and it opens up beautifully.  Look for both snappy and ripe red cherries accents by earth.  Perfect for your next red sauce night, whether it’s Bolognese or just pizza.
