Fantinel ‘Borgo Tesis’ Chardonnay 2017

For three generations, the Fantinel’s have been a successful business family in Friuli. They started in the hotel industry, which then evolved to restaurants, prosciutto factories, three wineries, and a soccer team. The family is dedicated and invests a great deal of time and money to ensure their products are of the highest quality. The grapes for the Chardonnay come from 100% estate owned vineyards and are vinified exclusively in stainless steel tanks to highlight their natural fruitiness. Apple notes on the palate are followed by white flowers and a hint of tropical fruits. Although not a “big” Chardonnay laden with excessive oak, this wine shows enough richness to coat your palate and pair with pasta covered in cream sauce.
