In only a few years, Domaine Guiberteau has become one of the most sought after domaines in Saumur, their wines already stringently allocated and found in the best restaurants in France. Clos de Guichaux is a 1.6 ha located in Bizay, silt and sand soils on relatively soft limestone bedrock. The organically grown grapes are fermented with indigenous years and aged for 9 months in older oak barrels (2 to 4 years). This Saumur is dry with a racing acidity and plenty of minerals.  This wine will shine with rich fish, poultry, or mild soft cheeses.
