Domaine d’Ouréa “Tire Bouchon” 2021 Vaucluse, France

This medium-bodied southern French red is loaded with personality.  It is a blend of organically grown 25% Grenache, 25% Cinsault, 29% Carignan, 10% Œillade, 10% Counoise, and 10% Aramon. It offers aromas of sour red cherries that lead into earthy flavors of brambly red fruit.  Tire Bouchon is light to medium-bodied with low tannin thanks to a brief maceration. Domaine D’Ouréa was founded in 2009 and is located in the renowned southern Rhone commune of Gigondas. Their Tire Bouchon exudes rustic charm and hits the spot with a piece of cheese and a baguette.
