Domaine des Escaravailles “Heritage 1924” Rasteau 2019, France

A pure expression of 100% Grenache from a single plot of 100 year old vines.  The berries were destemmed and vinified in concrete.  This delicious Rasteau bursts from the glass with black cherries infused with rosemary.  The ample palate is juicy with melted tannins.  Serve with kale lasagna or lamb with morels.
