COS Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico 2020
Founded in 1980 by the three friends Giambattista Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti, and Cirino Strano, this organic and biodynamic winery in south-eastern Sicily put these island wines on the international map. Dry farmed and solar powered, it feels good to drink this wine before you even open the bottle; but once you do, the seductive bouquet of red flowers, cherry, and thyme will transport you. Grippy, saline, and fruity, the Cerasuolo di Vittoria has polished tannins and will age for 10-15 years. 60% Nero d’Avola, 40% Frappato.
