Chateau Petit-Freylon “Cuvée Michael” Bordeaux 2018
Petit-Freylon’s Bordeaux Rouge is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. It offers deep notes of crème de cassis, black currant jam, and chocolate on a medium body with supple tannins. With time and air, a roasted chicory root aroma shows up. The 2018 is drinking well now, and it’s terrific for the price. Pair this with a weeknight steak or duck breast.
