Château Moulin de Mallet 2020 Bordeaux

Fabulous for its humble price, don’t hesitate to stock up on Moulin de Mallet.  Ruby-hued, it offers expressive scents of dark red fruits, red currants, and chocolate covered cherries intermixed with autumn leaves and black tea.  Moulin de Mallet is ample and fleshy on its medium-bodied palate, which is supported by well-integrated velvety tannins for structure.  This Bordeaux is a traditional blend of 79% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Malbec.  Château Moulin de Mallet has been operated by the Courdec family since 1898 and presently covers 40 hectares of vines.  Enjoy this with a hearty beef stew, casual steaks, shepherd’s pie, or just a good piece of aged cheddar.
