Château de Corcelles Beaujolais Blanc Chardonnay 2022
Courcelles’ Blanc is lovely. It wafts from the glass with notes of crisp apple and a touch of oak. Delight in elegant flavors of yellow apple, pear, quince, and buttered baguette. A bright lemony acidity provided structure while hints of warm spices lend depth to the finish. It has broad shoulders and a medium body. You won’t find White Burgundy this terrific for under $20. Beaujolais Blanc is a rarity, making up only 2% of the region’s production. Château de Courcelles is a winery based in the Beaujolais Cru of Brouilly. Pair with roast chicken with lemon and herbs, richer fish dishes, creamy mushroom sauce, or a random Thursday night on the couch.
