Château Auguste Bordeaux Rouge 2017

This terrific, organically-grown Bordeaux is a blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc with no oak influence. You will be greeted with ripe dark fruits on the nose, and classic flavors of black currant preserved accented by graphite and cedar in a medium-bodied format.  Its acidity is moderate and the tannins velvety and not too drying. We are happy that 2016 is the current vintage, because this wine is drinking well with its time aging in bottle. Perfect for your next steak night, or simply a good piece of aged cheddar.
