Castle Rock Zinfandel 2018, Lodi

Castle Rock’s Zinfandel offers aromas of mixed berries and flavors of boysenberry jam , raspberries, and anise.  It is medium bodied and mouthfilling with no hard edges.  A soft acidity gives way to just a touch of tannins to coast your palate.  This is a tasty value.  It pairs beautifully with barbeque, spicy foods, smoked cheeses and tangy flavors, but is also easy to enjoy on its own.
