Cartello Chardonnay, 2022, California
Cartello’s Chardonnay hails from two organically farmed vineyards in Arroyo Seco. While the wine underwent malolactic conversion and 75% of it aged in neutral French oak, this is a fresh and clean expression of Chardonnay. Look for bright apple and ripe pears with rounded corners. It is excellent with roasted poultry.
