This lovely expression of Chardonnay comes from a single organically-farmed vineyard in Mendocino.  It saw no malolactic fermentation or oak, so you get a bright and dry wine that is fruit-forward and food-friendly.  Enjoy apples and pear blossom with plenty of balancing acidity on a medium body. The McFadden family were the first to commercially farm grapes in the Potter Valley, Back in 1970, everyone said it was too cold to grow grapes there. There was no experience upon which to rely for guidance, but they proved it could be done with delicious results.
