Ananto’s organic red is lively and youthful with plenty of intensity. Look for a ruby hue and aromas of red cherries accented by flowers, pepper, and herbs. The medium-bodied palate continues the red cherry flavor along with pomegranate, blackberry, and tea. Ananto is a blend of 65% Bobal and 35% Tempranillo, all dry-farmed. If you’re not yet familiar with Bobal, it is an under-the-radar grape that happens to be the 3rd most planted red grape in Spain. It is native to Utiel-Reuenna in Valencia. This is a good go-to for your next casual burger or pizza night.
