Altos del Plata by Terrazas del los Andes is a fresh and fruitful expression of Chardonnay. Aromas of yellow apples, peach, pear, papaya, and pineapple combine with floral notes and undertones of vanilla and coconut. It is satisfyingly plush and broad across the palate with just enough acidity to balance the ripe fruit. Altos del Plata is far higher quality wine than most Chardonnays near this humble price point.
