Fresh hop beer is a beer made with freshly harvested hops that are not dried. The hops are typically picked when they are wet and full of moisture, and then quickly rushed to the brewery to be used in the brewing process. Fresh hop beers are known for their unique tropical flavor and herbal aroma, and are only available for a short time each year. That time being September and October.

Fat Head Fresh-Hopped Head Hunter: Fat Head’s signature India Pale Ale with amplified piney, resinous, grapefruit flavors and aromas of fresh chinook hops.

Breakside Fresh Hop Wanderlust: With the addition of fresh Cascade hops, it is bright golden in color and has intense tropical, dank, and grapefruit notes. By keeping the malt profile as light as possible, the interplay of hop flavors can really shine.

Breakside Fresh Hop Wanderjack: Filled with three of the fruitiest hops around, Strata, Mosaic, and Azacca, along with a touch of Simcoe to anchor the beer in classic dank West Coast flavor. Fresh hopped with HBC 1019 hops give it a potent but pleasing mix of citrus, tropical, and stone fruits.

Fort George Fresh Hop Sediments of Memory: Collaboration with Ruse Brewing. Fresh strata hops give it huge notes of sweet stone fruit and sticky-dank strawberries.
