Fresh, Easy Drinking, and Value Driven: June Features.

Summer is here and it’s time for fresh, easy drinking, value driven wines to enjoy with family and friends.

We’re featuring 12 of our favorite labels that will go great with a wide variety of summer fare.

At just $13.99, the Guilhem “Moulin de Gassac” Rouge 2021 Pays l’Herault is such a great bargain thanks to its price-quality ratio. It’s made by the Guibert family, producers of some of the country’s most iconic wines, at their legendary Mas de Daumas Gassac farm in southern France.

Here’s the staff tasting note:

This tasty bistro red is a blend of 50% Syrah, 30% Grenache, and 20% Carignan, all organically grown. Moulin de Gassac possesses spicy red fruit and plenty of Mediterranean herby garrigue on a medium body with no oak. Terrific with lamb burgers and ratatouille.
