This month’s selection includes the Sandy Cove Sauvignon Blanc 2023, Marlborough, New Zealand, $19.99.

Sandy Cove is produced by Allan Scott, one of the pioneers in Marlborough, New Zealand. Sandy Cove comes from selected vineyards that are farmed certified sustainably. The fruit is picked at ultimate ripeness and with the high natural acidity typical of the region. It is a balanced style, but still packs the refreshing punch that is classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. It jumps from the glass with extroverted flavors of grapefruit, yellow peach, passion fruit, and guava. Green tea notes join salted lime before lingering on the mouthwatering finish. Super with citrusy seafood, pasta with herbs and asparagus and olive oil. A great wine for summer.
