We’re delighted to welcome Brandy Robinson of Premium Port Wines for our next Wine Wednesday tasting. Brandy will be pouring four outstanding examples of Port, including a fun and approachable cocktail made with Dow’s White Port, Fever-Tree tonic, and St-Germain elderflower liqueur.

Port is one of the great historic wine regions of the world, yet it’s often reserved for holidays or special occasions. Made in Portugal’s dramatic Douro Valley, Port offers an extraordinary range of styles, from bright and refreshing whites to complex aged tawnies and powerful vintage expressions capable of decades of aging. During a recent tasting, we were happily reminded just how versatile and enjoyable Port can be, not just after dinner, but as a regular part of everyday wine enjoyment.

Premium Port Wines represents some of the most respected names in the Douro, including Dow’s and Graham’s, producers known for their balance, precision, and consistency across styles. From vineyard to lodge, these houses combine centuries of tradition with modern quality standards, resulting in Ports that are both classic and remarkably drinkable.

Our goal with this tasting is twofold: to remind longtime Port lovers that these wines deserve a place in regular rotation, and to invite those new to Port to discover how approachable, food-friendly, and shareable these wines can be. Join us to explore the differences between styles, vintages, and producers, and to experience Port in a fresh, modern context.
