Wine Wednesday: “Rethinking Sparkling,” Jan. 28, 5-7pm, complimentary.
Rethinking Sparkling…
We’re excited to kick off Wine Wednesday on January 28, 5-7 pm with a special in-store tasting featuring Logan Silbert, Advanced Sommelier and the owner of Few and Far Wines. 10% off listed pricing during the tasting.
Few and Far Wines is a thoughtfully curated importing and distribution company built around one simple but demanding idea: wines should taste like where they come from, and the people who made them should matter just as much as the place. Logan works closely with small, family-run producers farming responsibly, often organically or biodynamically, and crafting wines with minimal intervention. The portfolio leans toward Europe, but the through-line is global: authenticity, balance, and transparency over polish or excess.
Logan’s background as a working sommelier is evident in every selection. His wines are chosen not only for their integrity in the vineyard and cellar, but for how they perform at the table. These are wines with tension, freshness, and personality, bottles that sommeliers love to pour because they spark conversation and reward curiosity. As an Advanced Sommelier, Logan brings a deep well of practical wine knowledge, from classic benchmarks to emerging regions, all delivered with clarity and approachability.
Join us for an evening of discovery, storytelling, and delicious bottles as Logan pours and discusses a lineup that reflects his palate, his philosophy, and his commitment to bringing truly distinctive wines to market. This is a Wine Wednesday designed for those who love to learn as much as they love to drink.
Copenhagen Sparkling Tea – Copenhagen, Denmark (NON-ALCOHOLIC)
Sparkling Tea is a new innovative beverage category developed by the Danish award-winning sommelier Jacob Kocemba. To extract the perfect flavor from the teas, the leaves soak in both hot and cold water for an extensive period of time. To create an exclusive experience of taste, they work with small, carefully selected tea manufacturers, and we use only organic/biodynamic ingredients. Arguably the best alternative to Champagne!

Ca’ dei Zago – Valdobbiadene, Treviso
Ca’ dei Zago is a fifth-generation family estate based in the heart of Valdobbiadene. Founded in 1924, the winery is now led by Christian and Marika Zago, who have become torchbearers for the traditional, thoughtful style of Prosecco. Their 6.5 hectares of vineyards lie between San Pietro di Barbozza and Santo Stefano, on marl and sandstone soils that impart tension and mineral depth to their wines. Farming is certified organic, with regenerative/biodynamic practices employed to enhance soil vitality and express each micro-parcel’s individuality. All vinification is done using a basket press, hand-made concrete tanks, ancient chestnut barrels and gravity fed. Every decision, from hand-harvesting to spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, reflects a deep respect for the land and the continuity of family tradition. All their wines embody Ca’ dei Zago’s quiet rebellion through simple authenticity, tradition and purity of terroir.
