Jaboulet “Parallèle 45” Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc 2023
The Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, and Marsanne grapes for Parallèle 45 are all farmed organically. This is a charming wine with notes of white flowers, white peach, apple, and a touch of citrus, and a finish full of minerality. Parallèle 45 is named after the 45th parallel, the famous circle of latitude that marks the midpoint between the equator and the North Pole. It just so happens to pass over the cellars of Paul Jaboulet Aîné. White Rhônes are incredibly food-versatile, and this one is especially delicious with curried mussels.
