Pet a yak (yes, a yak!) and taste Gardenista cocktails, Weds., 10/30, 5-7pm, complimentary.

Please join us on Wednesday, October 30, from 5-7pm, for our weekly complimentary tasting where we will be featuring cocktails from Gardenista and a visiting and very lovable yak from the Tails of Two Cities Sanctuary in Nederland.

First the cocktails. As Gardenista writes on its website:

“In the mountains of Colorado, we discovered a beautiful green cocktail loved by locals and irresistible to visitors. Once we took a sip, we immediately understood the fascination. This wasn’t just a drink; it was an experience. Together with our hosts, we decided to capture the essence of this Green drink to share with cocktail lovers everywhere.”

Gardenista cocktails are made with locally sourced herbs, freshly squeezed lime juice, and ripe jalapeño.

The mission of Tails of Two Cities is “to rescue unwanted and discarded animals and provide them with high quality food and medical care to live our their natural lives.”

We are pleased to be raising awareness of their work. And we reckon that a good yak petting will help more than one of our guests to shake off the stress of our workaday lives!
