Taste Franciacorta Weds. and Thurs. with Jeremy Parzen, Ph.D.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2015 – 5:30PM –7:00PM

Special Franciacorta Wine Wednesday, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, we will open four unique examples of Franciacorta for our customers to taste while visiting with Jeremy Parzen.

Long misunderstood as a "Champagne's little sister," Franciacorta has emerged over the last decade as one of the most sought-after classic-method wines in Italy today. With its Alpine climate and its wide range of subsoils and growing sites, the appellation is capable of producing highly nuanced wines with great depth and character.

On November 4th at the Boulder Wine Merchant, Franciacorta consortium ambassador and blogger Jeremy Parzen, Ph.D. will be pouring and speaking about Franciacorta's astounding breadth and its unique position in the panorama of sparkling wine in the world today.

A wine writer and blogger who has been working in Italian wine for more than 15 years, Jeremy is also a wine and food historian and a widely published author. Next week, he will share his insights and experiences in the world of Italian wine as he pours 4 Franciacorta wines in-store on Wednesday and leads a seminar and tasting of 12 Franciacorta wines at the St. Julien hotel on Thursday.

On November 5th at the St. Julien Hotel, Franciacorta consortium ambassador and blogger Jeremy Parzen, Ph.D. will be pouring and speaking about Franciacorta's astounding breadth and its unique position in the panorama of sparkling wine in the world today.

Since we are only able to pour four wines at our in-store tasting, we would like to have a venue where we can open up a few cases of Franciacorta and have Jeremy walk you through the subtle nuances of each wine.  This will be a spectacular opportunity to learn about Italy's finest sparkling wine.  Not to mention, it will be an awesome value!

Tickets are $25.00 per person. There is limited seating available; please call the Boulder Wine Merchant today to reserve your seat ~ 303.443.6761
