Zum Martin Sepp Gruner Veltliner 2019 (1 Liter Bottle)

Terms like “micro-winery” and “Garagiste” often get casually thrown around to show that a winery is different from their larger counterparts. It in some ways denotes a scrappy mentality or winemaking done for the sake of making wine and not money. These terms have been redundantly used nearly to the point of meaninglessness. However, in this instance, there is no better way to describe Martin Zumm Sepp wines. Martin Zumm Sepp is actually more of a restaurant and inn in Grinzing than a winery. They supply their restaurant with a small amount of wine made at a nearby winery under the label Martin Zumm Sepp. And somehow we got our hands on some. This is a classic Gruner Veltliner with subtle notes of white peach, fresh flowers, and wet-stone minerality. Easy drinking and delicious.
