The Vino Nobile has a bright ruby color, an intense, ripe cherry and plum nose and a dry, balanced and persistent taste of rounded tannins. The 90% Prugnolo Gentile (their local clone of Sangiovese) is blended with 10% Merlot. Following vinification, the wine aged for 18 months in Slavonian and French oak. A bright ruby red hue invites you to take in intense and complex aromas of cherry, morello, plum, and violets. On the palate, this wine is dry, with vibrant acidity and well integrated tannins.
