Subida Garnacha Rose 2020
A rosé in October? Have we lost our minds?! Well, no. For a long time we have been encouraging people to drink rosé all year round. This is even more true during the fall when the cherry and cranberry notes of rosé can complement seasonal foods so well. Think about it: apples, pomegranates, squash, pumpkins, sweet potatoes; these all go excellently with the flavors of rosé wines. Subida is a project from the folks at Giuliana Imports. Their rosé is produced by direct press rather than saignée which helps preserve the natural acidity of the grapes. Fresh, vibrant and dry with notes of cherry, strawberry, and rhubarb, backed by lively cherry and orange blossoms.
