Ostatu is an excellent Rioja producer based in the sub-zone of Rioja Alavesa.  Their bold and flavorful dry rosé is a blend of 63% Tempranillo, 35% Garnacha, and 2% Viura, all organically grown.  A bright pink hue invites you to take in generous aromas of strawberries, raspberries, currants, and orange peel.  The palate repeats these ripe flavors, which are balanced by minerals and acidity.  Delicious on its own or paired with pizza, grilled salmon, or niçoise salad.
