Fattoria San Lorenzo,Verdicchio “Vigna di Gino”, Marche, Italy 2020

Enliven your palate with this crisp Italian white showing notes of lemon, lemon zest, and grapefruit on the nose, with green apple and white peach in the background. It has a lively personality with minerals, a bright acidity, and a dry finish.

Made from 100% estate grown fruit, this is from Castelli di Jesi in the Marche, the best area for the Verdicchio grape. Winemaker Natalino Crognaletti farms organically with biodynamic practices and specializes in Verdicchio. His family has been making wine since the early 1600’s and this wine is named as a tribute to his father, Gino. It is vinified using only wild yeast and gains a bit of richness from time on its lees.
